Being that we are so close to Lake Erling, in April, 1988, we decided to open a small store to sell bait and tackle. After a great first year, owner Kathy Harvey, bought out a local reel repair business and continues to this day repairing all sorts of reels in house.

  In 1991, Kathy built a new, larger building within a stones throw of the AR/LA state line. As the years passed, the store became well known to many that lived, hunted and fished near the town of Springhill, and Lake Erling area to be THE place to get minnows, worms, night crawlers, rods, reels, crickets, various tackle, ammo and hunting supplies.

  Ark-La Outdoors is owned and operated by Kathy Harvey. We are open for your convenience 6 days a week with hours from 6 A.M. to 6 P.M, Monday - Friday, Saturday 6:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. and Sunday is seasonal (7:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.)
