Over the past few months we've been gathering up equipment to upgrade the store into a new Point Of Sale (POS) System. I figured it wouldn't be that bad and be great for business, keep track of what comes and goes easier etc... But, it seems as though it would be more trouble that it's worth. POS System's rely on barcodes in order to be useful to the system. There are many items in the store which cannot have barcodes and it appears these items would be too much trouble to pursue alternative methods of scanning them into the system when a customer is checking out. I've exhausted a lot of time and money into this venture and as it turns out, it was a bad idea from the start. Does anyone need some POS equipment?
